Gospel singer and pastor, Nathaniel Bassey, has said he will mark his 44th birthday on Friday by hosting a worship session with inmates at the Kirikiri Medium Security Prison in Lagos.<\/p>\n
Bassey, in a post on his Instagram page, revealed that the event will feature a one-day edition of the globally recognised Halleluyah Challenge, which he initiated in 2017.<\/p>\n
\u201cTomorrow for my birthday, I praise and celebrate with my brethren in prison,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n
The Halleluyah Challenge has over the years become one of Africa\u2019s most influential online prayer and worship gatherings, drawing thousands of Christians nightly for a dedicated hour of praise.<\/p>\n
It has also inspired widespread testimonies of healing, deliverance, and answered prayers from participants across the world.<\/p>\n
Bassey, known for hit worship songs such as Onise Iyanu and Imela, has built a reputation for using his ministry to foster community, revival, and unity among Christians both in Nigeria and internationally.<\/p>\n
