{"id":103256,"date":"2025-08-28T12:28:06","date_gmt":"2025-08-28T12:28:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/103256\/"},"modified":"2025-08-28T12:28:06","modified_gmt":"2025-08-28T12:28:06","slug":"toronto-police-charge-man-with-attempted-murder","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/103256\/","title":{"rendered":"Toronto police charge man with attempted murder"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"b-date-custom__date-item\">Updated:\u00a0August 28, 2025 at 7:49AM EDT<\/p>\n<p class=\"b-date-custom__date-item\">Published:\u00a0August 28, 2025 at 6:42AM EDT<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">A 33-year-old man is facing an attempted murder charge after two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle and injured in a North York parking lot Wednesday night, police say.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Officers were called to the area of Don Mills Road and Gateway Boulevard in Flemingdon Park for reports of a collision at approximately 10:20 p.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">When emergency crews arrived, police told CP24 they found one person with serious injuries, who was later transported to a trauma centre. A second person sustained minor injuries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Police tell CP24 that the victims are a 50 and 28-year-old man.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The driver, who is from Markham, was arrested at the scene.
