\n\tBU started the year with a split against the America East, earning a 1-0 victory at New Hampshire and then dropping a 4-0 decision at No. 1 Vermont. Last season, the Terriers went 2-2-4 on the road.
\n\tSenior Alex Bonnington<\/a> scored the game winner against the Wildcats with an early second-half strike set up by freshman Austin Mobray<\/a> and a long pass from senior Quin DeLaMater<\/a>.
\n\tSenior Ben Alexander<\/a> is the lone Terrier to play all 180 minutes, recording a .636 save percentage and 2.00 goals against average. He started off with two saves at UNH for BU’s first shutout and followed up with five saves against the Catamounts.
\n\tSenior and preseason All-PL honoree John Roman<\/a> has played the second most minutes at 165 total.
\n\tJunior Keke Abai<\/a>\u00a0currently leads BU with three shot attempts, while both Bonnington and sophomore Dylan Williams<\/a> own two shots apiece.
\n\tThrough two contests, opponents have combind for a 27-10 lead in shots and 16-5 advantage in corners.

\n\tThe Cougars opened the season with identical 3-2 losses to South Carolina and at Davidson after posting a 10-6-2 (4-2-2 CAA) record in 2024 that included a 5-1-2 home mark.
\n\tFour different Cougars have found the back of the net this year with Ben Bagshaw owning a team-high three points so far.\u00a0
\n\tTop returners include Matt Lenert, who totaled 18 points (8g,2a), and Ezra White, who recorded 12 points with the help of 10 assists.
\n\tCharlie Duske has played all 180 minutes at goal, combining for four saves after earning one in five minutes of action last year. Olly Marshall is back after posting a .704 save percentage and\u00a01.60 GAA.
\n\tCharleston averaged 0.4 more shots last season with 117-96 advantage in corners.

\n\tThe teams will meet for the first time in program history.
\n\tBU is visiting its first non-conference opponent outside the northeast since playing Wake Forest and North Carolina in back-to-back games in 2012.

\n\tThe Terriers will open the seven-game home schedule next Friday (Sept. 5) against Brown at 7 p.m.
\n\tBU will host the Bears for the first time since 2018 in a series that dates back to 1969.
\n\tLast year’s contest in Providence marked the teams’ first matchup since 2019 with the Bears prevailing, 5-1.
