Millie Bobby Brown<\/a> and Jake Bongiovi\u2019s baby news may have shocked the world, but his rockstar dad, Jon Bon Jovi<\/a>, had a different reaction.<\/p>\n

Brown, 21, and Bongiovi, 23, announced they had welcomed their first child together in a joint Instagram post on August 21, 2025. \u201cThis summer we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy,\u201d the post read. \u201cAnd then there were 3.\u201d<\/p>\n

After the announcement, a source told Star<\/a> magazine that Bon Jovi\u2014who shares his son with his wife Dorothea Hurley\u2014that the singer was in \u201cheaven\u201d over the baby news. \u201cJon has always been a hands-on dad so it\u2019s no surprise that he\u2019s completely embracing this new grandpa role,\u201d the insider said. \u201cHe and Dorthea are both in heaven. They love babies.\u201d<\/p>\n

The insider revealed that Brown and Bongiovi are currently \u201choled up in East Hampton\u201d with his family, \u201cbonding and soaking up this very special time\u201d with their newborn. The source also added that Bon Jovi can\u2019t help but \u201cbrag to everyone about what natural parents Jake and Millie are.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s so proud of them and says he\u2019s blown away by how mature they both are,\u201d the insider continued. \u201cHaving a baby around again is bringing so much joy. They\u2019re in this beautiful bubble right now.\u201d<\/p>\n

The source also revealed that Brown and Bongiovi don\u2019t \u201cplan to stop at just one\u201d child. \u201cThey want at least four kids, but it won\u2019t surprise anyone if they have more because they\u2019re both so family-focused,\u201d the insider said. \u201cThey\u2019re young but they\u2019re both way more mature than the average 20-something, so this just feels right for them.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brown and Bongiovi married in May 2024 after three years of dating. In an interview on the \u201cSmartless<\/a>\u201d podcast in 2025, Brown revealed that she always wanted to be a young mom because of the age her parents were when they had her. \u201cMy mom actually had her first child at 21, and my dad was 19,\u201d she said. \u201cYou know, it\u2019s been my thing since before I met Jake.\u201d<\/p>\n

Along with Jake, Bon Jovi also shares three other kids with Dorothea: sons Romeo and Jesse and daughter Stephanie.<\/p>\n
