After a long day at work, a Florida resident named Cassidy was arriving home when she was struck by an uncanny feeling \u2014 the feeling that she was being watched.<\/p>\n

Walking up to her front porch, everything appeared to be perfectly as it should be. At first. But then Cassidy noticed something was off about the cherished frog statue she keeps by her front door.<\/p>\n

The lifeless statue suddenly didn’t seem so lifeless.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs I was walking in after work, exhausted, I had to stop and drop everything to take a photo,\u201d Cassidy told The Dodo.<\/p>\n

From the shadowy insides of the frog statue\u2019s mouth, an apt little animal sat gazing out.<\/p>\n

\u201cI could hardly believe it,\u201d Cassidy said.<\/p>\n

The animal inside the frog statue was, in fact, a frog \u2014 a living and breathing one, to be precise.<\/p>\n

Following some recent rainstorms, he\u2019d evidently found safe haven in the hollow internals of his form-cast counterpart.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was just too cute and funny,\u201d Cassidy said. \u201cJust a perfect and silly photo op.\u201d<\/p>\n

For Cassidy \u2014 who is a frog lover \u2014 the little amphibian\u2019s presence inside her statue was just the thing to lift her spirits at the end of the day.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt definitely lifted my mood after a long day,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

The frog, meanwhile, just continued to watch.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s no telling yet if the frog will choose to live full-time in this frog-shaped abode. But Cassidy would be more than happy to call him neighbor if he decides to stay, stating:<\/p>\n
