STORY LINES<\/p>\n

– Binghamton (1-2-0) defeated Mount St. Mary’s 2-1 in its home opener on Thursday evening. Junior midfielder Alex Balkey<\/a> and junior forward Kevaughn Harris<\/a> netted the Bearcat goals while graduate student goalkeeper Daniel Shannon<\/a> made six saves in his first start of the season.<\/p>\n

– Balkey has scored in back-to-back matches and leads the Bearcats with two goals and four total points so far this year.<\/p>\n

– Hofstra (1-1-0) is coming off a 2-0 win over St. John’s last Sunday night. Laurie Goddard and Daniel Burko scored the Pride’s goals.<\/p>\n

– Burko leads Hofstra with two goals and four total points so far this season. He has scored in both matches.<\/p>\n

– Hofstra leads the all-time series against the Bearcats 6-1-1. Most recently, the Pride won 3-2 at home on Sept. 2, 2024. Current junior forward Anthony Randazzo<\/a> scored both Binghamton goals in that game. The lone Bearcat win in the series was a 2-1 decision at Hofstra on Oct. 25, 2016.<\/p>\n
