The road to the WNBA Finals goes through Minnesota.<\/p>\n

Napheesa Collier<\/a> and the Lynx<\/a> defeated the Connecticut Sun<\/a>, 94-70<\/a>, on Saturday, Aug. 30. The victory was the Lynx’s 31st of the season, a new franchise record, and secured the best record (31-8) in the league this season.<\/p>\n

As a result, Minnesota will be the top overall seed in the playoffs.<\/p>\n

The Lynx are looking to bounce back after reaching the 2024 WNBA finals, but falling short against the New York Liberty<\/a> in a five-game series<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Collier nearly produced a double-double on Saturday with 17 points and nine rebounds in 27 minutes of play against the Sun.<\/p>\n

Courtney Williams<\/a> had\u00a015 points and eight rebounds for the Lynx, while Kayla McBride<\/a> added 15 points and six assists.<\/p>\n

When do the Minnesota Lynx play next?<\/p>\n

The Lynx will play the Dallas Wings<\/a> on Monday, Sept. 1<\/a>, before playing the next three games on the road against the Las Vegas Aces<\/a> (Sept. 4<\/a>), the Golden State Valkyries<\/a> (Sept. 6<\/a>)\u00a0 and the Indiana Fever<\/a> (Sept. 9<\/a>).
