The final round of the British Open is underway, and it feels like it’s Scottie Scheffler’s to lose.<\/p>\n
Scheffler entered Sunday’s round with a massive four-shot lead<\/a> at Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland, which has him on the cusp of claiming his fourth career major championship and his first ever Claret Jug. Scheffler has won all three of his other major championships after holding a 54-hole lead. He’s actually won his last nine tournaments when he’s held the lead at that point of an event, too.<\/p>\n Chasing him are Haotong Li, Harris English, Matt Fitzpatrick and Rory McIlroy \u2014 who started the day six shots back despite his own impressive 5-under outing on Saturday.
