Syko Stu has been released from the hospital a week after being brutally assaulted by Quinton \u201cRampage\u201d Jackson\u2019s son Raja during a Kick stream.<\/p>\n
The pro wrestler, whose real name is Stuart Smith, had agreed to participate in a work spot<\/a> with Jackson during a KnokXperience event on Saturday, August 23rd. But Jackson — who holds a 4-0 amateur and 0-1 record in MMA — came into the ring with the intention to attack Smith for real.<\/p>\n Raja powerbombed the 39 year old veteran, knocking him unconscious. He then punched Smith over 20 times in the face before other wrestlers were forced to pull him off.<\/a> Smith was rushed to the hospital in serious condition, where he stayed until today.<\/p>\n Smith\u2019s fianc\u00e9, Contessa Patterson, shared a new update on his Facebook page.<\/p>\n \u201cStuart has been released from the hospital and is now home resting,\u201d she wrote. \u201cHe sustained a serious head injury and was unconscious upon arrival at the ER. His injuries include trauma to both the upper and lower jaws, a laceration to his upper lip, and a fracture to the maxilla bone, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of several teeth.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201dHe has a long road of recovery ahead, but he remains in good spirits despite everything he has been through.
