The official website for the anime of Tatsuya End\u014d<\/a>‘s SPY\u00d7FAMILY<\/a> manga revealed a visual and October 4 debut for the anime’s third<\/a> season on Sunday. The anime will debut on October 4 at 11:00 p.m. on TV Tokyo<\/a>, TV Osaka<\/a>, TV Aichi<\/a>, TV Setouchi<\/a>, TV Hokkaido<\/a>, and TV Kyushu<\/a>. It will then air on BS TV Tokyo<\/a> on October 5.<\/p>\n

Past seasons’ episode director Yukiko Imai<\/a> is directing the third season at Wit Studio<\/a> and CloverWorks<\/a>, replacing second season directors Kazuhiro Furuhashi<\/a> and Takahiro Harada<\/a>. Yuki Takeuchi<\/a> (Ishura<\/a>, Witch Watch<\/a>) and past seasons’ episode art director Tomomi Sugimoto<\/a> are now in charge of art setting, Keita Watanabe<\/a> (Wind Breaker<\/a> 3D director) is the CG director, and Rina Koguchi<\/a> (Black Butler: Emerald Witch Arc<\/a>, YATAGARASU: The Raven Does Not Choose Its Master<\/a>) is the third season’s editor.<\/p>\n

The new season will also have returning cast and staff.<\/p>\n

The anime’s second half premiered in Japan in October 2022, and Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired. The anime’s second season premiered<\/a> in October 2023 and aired for 12 episodes. Crunchyroll again streamed the series as it aired.<\/p>\n

The SPY\u00d7FAMILY Code: White<\/a> anime film<\/a> opened<\/a> in Japan in December 2023 and topped<\/a> the Japanese box office in its first weekend. The film is an all-new work with an original story. Crunchyroll opened<\/a> the film in North America in<\/a> April 2024. The film debuted<\/a> at #5 at the U.S. box office.<\/p>\n

Viz Media<\/a> is publishing<\/a> Tatsuya End\u014d’s original and ongoing manga in English, and it describes the story:<\/p>\n

Shueisha<\/a> is simulpublishing<\/a> the manga in English on its MANGA Plus<\/a> service. Viz Media added<\/a> the manga to its app as part of its Shonen Jump<\/a> subscription in September 2019. The company is also publishing the manga in print.<\/p>\n

The manga has also inspired<\/a> a stage musical adaptation that ran in March-May 2023. The second stage musical will run<\/a> from September to December this year. <\/p>\n
