President Donald Trump has responded to speculation about his health<\/a> in a post on Truth Social.<\/p>\n

\u201cNEVER FELT BETTER IN MY LIFE,\u201d the president wrote on Sunday night<\/a>, linking back to a Truth Social post<\/a> from another user making disparaging comments about former president Joe Biden\u2019s health. The user added that the \u201cmedia freaks out if Trump disappears for 24 hours.\u201d <\/p>\n

Unfounded rumors swirled on social media<\/a> this week about the president\u2019s health<\/a>. Conspiracy theorists pointed to the fact that Trump hadn\u2019t been seen publicly since his Cabinet meeting on Wednesday and had a clear weekend schedule. <\/p>\n

Others also cited Vice President JD Vance\u2019s interview on Wednesday with USA Today<\/a>, in which he said he\u2019s ready to assume the presidency if a \u201cterrible tragedy\u201d occurred. In that same interview, Vance also noted Trump is in \u201cincredibly good health.\u201d <\/p>\n

Questions about the president\u2019s health were among the top Google searches at noon on Saturday, while \u201cWhere is Donald Trump\u201d was trending on X, Forbes<\/a> reports. However, Trump was spotted again on Saturday en route to his Virginia golf course.<\/p>\n

In the same Truth Social post, Trump also declared Washington, D.C., a \u201ccrime free zone.\u201d Trump deployed the National Guard to the nation\u2019s capital this month, claiming he did so in response to a \u201ccrime emergency.\u201d Violent crime has been declining in D.C. since 2023. <\/a><\/p>\n

Despite questions over his whereabouts, Trump has shared dozens of posts on Truth Social this weekend, including more declarations<\/a> that D.C. is now safe and a call<\/a> to end mail-in voting. He also posted a bizarre rant lashing out at a White House Rose Garden worker<\/a> for damaging a piece of stone and shared surveillance footage of the incident.<\/p>\n

Questions about Trump\u2019s health mounted earlier this year as photos of his swollen ankles and bruised hands<\/a> circulated online.<\/p>\n

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt disclosed in July that Trump, 79, had been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency<\/a>. The condition is fairly common in older people, and occurs when veins in the legs struggle to carry blood to the heart. <\/p>\n

Leavitt added that there was no evidence of deep vein thrombosis or arterial disease.
