Five games remain on the Minnesota Lynx’s regular season schedule, and the best team in the WNBA has nothing for which to play.<\/p>\n
It is a privileged position in which Cheryl Reeve’s team finds itself. Minnesota’s 31 wins this season are a franchise record, and the Lynx clinched home-court advantage throughout the WNBA playoffs after defeating the Connecticut Sun, 94-70, on Saturday night.<\/p>\n
As such, the Lynx are in a position to ensure their best players are ready to go when the playoffs begin on Sept. 14. To that end, Reeve will rest guard Kayla McBride for Monday night’s home game against the Dallas Wings.<\/p>\n
