And it was terrifying because it was extremely loud,\u201d neighbour Lovele Gill told Global News.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve never heard gunshots before, so I honestly didn\u2019t know that that\u2019s actually what it was, because there\u2019s a lot of fireworks that go off in the neighborhood too,\u201d added neighbour Seanna Koopmans.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd then I heard the car speeding away, and kind of guessed what had happened,\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Abbotsford police Sgt. It\u2019s something that we\u2019re trying to figure out why they were targeted,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators are looking for a dark-coloured sedan in connec<\/p>\n<p>Neighbour Allan Goodfellow said the gunfire was extremely unusual for the area.<\/p>\n<p>Story continues below advertisement<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m quite surprised. I mean, like this is normally a very quiet neighborhood. Nothing like this has happened in like, 12 years that I know of in the area,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Koopmans said the incident was \u201csuper concerning.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s kids that ride their bikes up and down the street. I don\u2019t want kids in the street to be affected negatively,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou know, middle of the night or daytime. It doesn\u2019t matter.
