From Lady Gaga making an appearance on Wednesday Season 2, Part 2 on Netflix, to the new show The Runarounds, from the creators of Outer Banks, landing on Prime Video, September is a great month for TV lovers. Additionally, Only Murders in the Building on Disney+ and Slow Horses on Apple TV+ both return for their fifth seasons.<\/p>\n

A new series starring Glen Powell premieres in September on Disney+ and The Office gets a spinoff show with The Paper. Thanks to Crave, Canadians will also be able to start streaming hundreds of episodes of Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune in September.<\/p>\n

What to watch on Netflix: New TV shows and moviesWednesday, Season 2, Part 2 \u2014 Sept. 3<\/p>\n

Wednesday Season 2 continues with guest stars Frances O’Connor, Gwendoline Christie and Lady Gaga featured in Part 2, coming later this month.<\/p>\n

Lady Gaga’s role in the show will be Rosaline Rotwood, a legendary Nevermore teacher, described as “mysterious and enigmatic.”<\/p>\n

Wayward \u2014 Sept. 25<\/p>\n

The upcoming series Wayward, created by Canadian talent Mae Martin, is a thriller set in a town called Tall Pines, which is the location of a school for “troubled teens.” When Alex Dempsey (Martin) and pregnant wife Laura (Sarah Gadon) move to the area, Alex meets two students, Abbie (Sydney Topliffe) and Leila (Alyvia Alyn Lind), and suspects that the head of the school, Evelyn (Toni Collette), is behind a series of odd events in the area.<\/p>\n

What to watch on Disney+: New TV shows and moviesOnly Murders in the Building, Season 5 \u2014 Sept. 9<\/p>\n

For Season 5 of Only Murders in the Building, when beloved doorman Lester dies, Charles (Steve Martin), Oliver (Martin Short) and Mabel (Selena Gomez) start investigating, finding links to billionaires, mobsters, and of course, Arconia residents.<\/p>\n

This season’s guest stars include Meryl Streep, Da\u2019Vine Joy Randolph, Richard Kind, Nathan Lane, Bobby Cannavale, Ren\u00e9e Zellweger, Logan Lerman, Christoph Waltz, T\u00e9a Leoni Keegan-Michael Key, Beanie Feldstein, Dianne Wiest and Jermaine Fowler.<\/p>\n

Chad Powers \u2014 Sept. 30<\/p>\n

In Chad Powers Glen Powell plays Russ Holiday, whose college football career ended eight years ago after a horrible game day mistake. But looking for redemption, he gives himself a new identity, Chad Powers, to get himself on the struggling South Georgia Catfish football team.<\/p>\n

Executive producers on the series include Powell, Eli Manning and Peyton Manning.<\/p>\n

The creators of Outer Banks have given us a music drama series, The Runarounds, which is about a group of high school graduates from Wilmington, North Carolina who form a rock band.<\/p>\n

The show stars Axel Ellis, Jesse Golliher, William Lipton, Zend\u00e9 Murdock, Jeremy Yun and Lilah Pate.<\/p>\n

The Girlfriend \u2014 Sept. 10<\/p>\n

Based on the novel by Michelle Frances, in The Girlfriend Laura (Robin Wright) seems to “have it all” with her family, but when her son Daniel (Laurie Davidson) introduces her to his girlfriend Cherry (Olivia Cooke), Laura is convinced she needs to keep her son away from this woman.<\/p>\n

What to watch on Paramount+: New TV shows and moviesNCIS: Tony & Ziva \u2014 Sept. 4<\/p>\n

Famed NCIS characters lead a new thriller series, as Michael Weatherly returns as Tony DiNozzo Jr. and Cote de Pablo returns as Ziva David.<\/p>\n

Living in Europe, Tony’s private security firm is attacked, resulting in Tony and Ziva trying to unravel the mystery, while also navigating parenthood, raising Tali (Isla Gie).<\/p>\n
