Robin Wright<\/a> might soon join several other celebrities in leaving the United States behind.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love being in this country,\u201d she told the English paper. \u201cThere\u2019s a freedom of self here. People are so kind. They\u2019re living. They\u2019re not in the car in traffic, panicked on a phone call, eating a sandwich. That\u2019s most of America. Everything\u2019s rush, competition and speed.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wright argued that the sounds of construction surrounding her seaside Los Angeles<\/a> home have nothing on the soothing bird chirps of her newfound mornings in the Chilterns, but also noted that she met a new man \u2014 and has been dating British architect Henry Smith.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love the quiet,\u201d she told the Times. \u201cAnd I\u2019ve met my person. Finally.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wright is joining numerous stars in an apparent exodus from the United States, including former daytime talk show hosts Ellen DeGeneres<\/a> and Rosie O\u2019Donnell<\/a>, who respectively moved to England and Ireland \u2014 after Trump\u2019s reelection in November.<\/p>\n

\u201cSopranos\u201d star Joe Pantoliano<\/a> and \u201cDesperate Housewives\u201d alum Eva Longoria<\/a> are either considering a permanent move or making sure they have an alternate home base.<\/p>\n

Wright met Smith at a countryside pub after his dog started sniffing around her seat \u2014 and quickly fell in love. She described the architect during her interview as a \u201cgood, decent adult\u201d and \u201csweetheart.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m seen and loved for who I am,\u201d Wright told the Times about Smith. \u201cIt\u2019s so relaxing.\u201d<\/p>\n

The native Texan is currently starring in \u201cThe Girlfriend<\/a>,\u201d a psychological thriller series for Prime Video. Wright, who directed the first three episodes, said she and Smith are hoping to take time off soon \u2014 to move to the English seaside with their dogs.<\/p>\n
