Most people love to outline the \u201c10 biggest snubs for the Ryder Cup.\u201d In my mind, there\u2019s just never that many.<\/p>\n

With the Ryder Cup rosters now official for both teams<\/a>, I think there are two players from each side who have legit \u201csnub\u201d claims. <\/p>\n

And the biggest one is the American captain.<\/p>\n

Biggest Ryder Cup Snubs<\/p>\n

Keegan Bradley<\/p>\n

The Team USA captain could\u2019ve picked himself and no one would have blamed him. He played great golf for most of 2025, won the Travelers Championship in June, and is undoubtedly one of the best 12 Americans. But he did what was best for the team<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This snub pick comes down to one thing: if anyone else was the captain of this team, Bradley would be bringing his sticks to Bethpage Black.<\/p>\n

Maverick McNealy<\/p>\n

McNealy was No. 10 in the U.S. rankings when Bradley made his captain\u2019s picks. It\u2019s pretty rare for that spot to miss out on the team. In 24 starts this season, Mav made 20 cuts, finished inside the top 10 seven times, and the top 25 11 times. Plus, he won for the first time at the end of November \u201824 (The RMS Classic), and is one of the best putters in the world.<\/p>\n

But Bradley decided to lean on experience with his picks, and that was probably the right thing to do. Two of his automatic qualifiers, J.J. Spaun and Russell Henley, will make their Cup debuts, so it\u2019s easy to see why he went that direction.<\/p>\n

Matt Wallace<\/p>\n

Wallace, who was 12th in the European rankings when Donald made his picks, wants the Ryder Cup more than anything. After tying for second at the European Masters this past weekend, he broke into tears as it became clear that he\u2019d probably be left off this year\u2019s time.<\/p>\n

Back in 2018, he won three times on the DP World Tour, and that still wasn\u2019t enough to be picked by captain Thomas Bjorn. <\/p>\n

Harry Hall<\/p>\n

Hall, 17th in the rankings, balled out from the end of March on. In his final 16 TOUR starts of the season, the Englishman finished T-28 or better 14 times, including three top 10s.
