Achanta<\/a>, who shot 3-under 68 and sits in a tie for third place in the individual leaderboard. The San Jose, Calif., native posted six birdies on her round and is three strokes behind leader Nagi Kuramochi of Nihon University (65).<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/hawaiiathletics.com\/sports\/womens-golf\/roster\/maline-kraus\/21597\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"21597\" target=\"_blank\">Maline Kraus<\/a> is one stroke back at 2-under 69 and tied for sixth place with a group of six others.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nUCLA leads the team standings at 8-under 276 followed by Nihon (281) who is five strokes back. UH and Fukui University of Technology are tied for third at 284 while Meiji University (286) rounds out the top five. A total of 12 women&#8217;s teams are entered in the field.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nAlso competing for the Rainbow Wahine are <a href=\"https:\/\/hawaiiathletics.com\/sports\/womens-golf\/roster\/emiko-sverduk\/21593\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"21593\" target=\"_blank\">Emiko Sverduk<\/a> (71, t-17th), <a href=\"https:\/\/hawaiiathletics.com\/sports\/womens-golf\/roster\/wendy-song\/21592\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"21592\" target=\"_blank\">Wendy Song<\/a> (76, t-40th), and <a href=\"https:\/\/hawaiiathletics.com\/sports\/womens-golf\/roster\/sofina-firouzi\/21590\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"21590\" target=\"_blank\">Sofina Firouzi<\/a> (85, 62nd).<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nThe tournament continues with the second round on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>T3.
