{"id":116518,"date":"2025-09-03T10:47:09","date_gmt":"2025-09-03T10:47:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/116518\/"},"modified":"2025-09-03T10:47:09","modified_gmt":"2025-09-03T10:47:09","slug":"hilary-swank-spotted-dining-at-celebrity-favourite-vancouver-restaurant-heres-what-she-ordered","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/116518\/","title":{"rendered":"Hilary Swank spotted dining at celebrity-favourite Vancouver restaurant \u2014 here&#8217;s what she ordered"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Following <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyhive.com\/vancouver\/hudson-yang-vancouver\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Hudson Yang\u2019s tour<\/a> of some of Vancouver\u2019s hottest restaurants, Hilary Swank (known for her roles in Million Dollar Baby, The Next Karate Kid, and Freedom Writers) has also been spotted dining in Vancouver at the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyhive.com\/vancouver\/vij-celebrity\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">celeb-fave eatery Vij\u2019s<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn Aug. 28, Hilary Swank visited Vij\u2019s, where she and her guest enjoyed a fully vegetarian dining experience on the restaurant\u2019s stunning rooftop patio, surrounded by thriving plants and fruit,\u201d a representative from Vij\u2019s told Dished.<\/p>\n<p>For those unfamiliar, Vij\u2019s is an Indian restaurant renowned for its inventive cuisine, exceptional service, and signature dishes, including its marinated lamb popsicles.<\/p>\n<p>Among the many items Swank and company enjoyed were some ginger lemon sodas and a spread of classic dishes like creamy dhal makani, vegetarian biryani, smoky eggplant curry, and coconut-curried vegetables.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHilary was incredibly warm, even visiting the kitchen to personally thank the staff, and both she and her guest were genuinely friendly, soaking in the vibrant and welcoming ambiance of Vij\u2019s rooftop dining,\u201d added Vij\u2019s.<\/p>\n<p>Swank is not the only celebrity to enjoy Vij\u2019s Indian cuisine; many other celebrities have dined\u00a0there over the years.
