They\u2019ll kick off with a four-night run in Madrid starting on Nov. 4, followed by four evenings each in Bologna, London, Copenhagen, and Berlin.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\t\u201cLast year, we got together to rehearse, just for the hell of it,\u201d drummer Philip Selway said in a statement. \u201cAfter a seven-year pause, it felt really good to play the songs again and reconnect with a musical identity that has become lodged deep inside all five of us. It also made us want to play some shows together, so we hope you can make it to one of the upcoming dates. For now, it will just be these ones but who knows where this will all lead.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tTickets for the shows will only be available to fans who have registered at <a href=\"https:\/\/radiohead.com\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/radiohead.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">radiohead.com<\/a>. Registration for this purpose opens on Friday, Sept. 5 at 10 a.m. British Standard Time (5 a.m. ET), and closes on Sunday, Sept. 7 at 10 p.m. BST (5 p.m. ET). The actual sale begins on Sept. 12.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tNews of the tour first surfaced <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/radiohead\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">on Reddit<\/a>, after fans <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/radiohead\/comments\/1n6nfau\/i_think_its_real_london_dates\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">spotted<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/radiohead\/comments\/1n6q9jp\/its_real_folks\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">flyers<\/a> around several of the cities where the band will play. The news was met with equal parts excitement and skepticism from the band\u2019s fanbase. \u201cRadiohead are gonna walk onstage and Reddit will still not believe the tour is real,\u201d one user <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/radiohead\/comments\/1n6nfau\/comment\/nc1ijq9\/?utm_source=share&amp;utm_medium=web3x&amp;utm_name=web3xcss&amp;utm_term=1&amp;utm_content=share_button\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">joked<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tThe 2025 shows follow the band\u2019s recent release of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-album-reviews\/radiohead-hail-to-the-thief-live-review-1235411053\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Hail to the Thief Live Recordings 2003-2009<\/a>, featuring live versions of nearly all the songs from their 2003 album. The killer live LP was born out of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/radiohead-hamlet-hail-to-the-thief-stage-production-1235112898\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Hamlet Hail to the Thief<\/a>, the 2024 U.K. stage production that mashed up the Radiohead album with the early-1600s Shakespeare play. \u201cI was shocked by the kind of energy behind the way we played,\u201d frontman <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/thom-yorke\/\" id=\"auto-tag_thom-yorke\" data-tag=\"thom-yorke\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Thom Yorke<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/radiohead-hail-to-the-thief-live-album-1235405860\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">said<\/a> of the live recordings. \u201cI barely recognized us, and it helped me find a way forward.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tRadiohead\u2019s last tour, which concluded in 2018, was in support of their most recent album, 2016\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-album-reviews\/a-moon-shaped-pool-202854\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">A Moon Shaped Pool<\/a>. Earlier this year, Yorke teamed up with producer Mark Pritchard for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-album-reviews\/thom-yorke-mark-prichard-tall-tales-1235335332\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tall Tales<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tAmid these non-Radiohead releases, fans have pondered Radiohead\u2019s future, particularly after Yorke spoke to Australia\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/thom-yorke-radiohead-reunion-interview-1235139851\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Double J<\/a> in Oct. 2024 and addressed the speculation. \u201cI am not aware of it and don\u2019t really give a flying fuck,\u201d he said. \u201cNo offence to anyone and thanks for caring. But I think we\u2019ve earned the right to do what makes sense to us without having to explain ourselves or be answerable to anyone else\u2019s historical idea of what we should be doing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tHe continued: \u201cI don\u2019t think we feel the need to live up to anything. That feels like a non-problem. In Dec. 2024, he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-features\/colin-greenwood-interview-book-radiohead-reunion-tour-1235213867\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">spoke to Rolling Stone<\/a> about his photo book How to Disappear: A Portrait of Radiohead \u2014 and shared details on how the rehearsal went. \u201cIt was just basically to check in with each other, I suppose, because we hadn\u2019t done it for so long,\u201d he told us. \u201cI guess it was also because I think maybe Thom and Jonny were going off to do some stuff [with the Smile]\u2026. It was something we could all do cause we were all around that time. It was just really nice just to run through stuff\u2026 We ran through, like, The Bends. Kid A stuff. We ran through loads of stuff \u2026 We enjoy being with each other.
