Robbie Williams<\/a> has shared an update on his parents\u2019 health saying it is \u201cvery precarious right now\u201d.<\/p>\n

The former Take That<\/a> singer is currently in the middle of his UK tour and he recently shared a post on\u00a0Instagram, informing fans about his well-being and how the tour is going.<\/p>\n

Sharing an update on his own health, Williams said: \u201cWell I\u2019ve been ill with some sort of virus for a couple of weeks, which is making me feel very weak. It\u2019s par for the course on tours. Everyone gets something, in the past, though, I would have been paralysed with fear.\u201d<\/p>\n

He then shared: \u201cThings at home with my parents? VERY precarious right now. It\u2019s real-world stuff that deeply affects me and my wife. And if my wife is affected you can bet I am. So the maths are: Virus + ill parents + stadium tour.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery single moment of every single day is in preparation for those 2+ hours on stage. Outside of that? I have nothing\u2019. There is nothing to offer. I don\u2019t mind stating to those around me, I need protecting. And in return I protect them\u201d<\/p>\n

Williams previously announced his mother Janet had been diagnosed with dementia in November 2024.<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, he told The Sun<\/a>: \u201cMy mother has dementia and she doesn\u2019t know who I am anymore. She doesn\u2019t know where she is anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also revealed his father Pete has Parkinson\u2019s disease and struggles to be as social as he once was adding: \u201cHe used to sing with me every night on stage, he would come out, steal the show and be charming and then wander backstage for a glass of red wine. Now he can\u2019t leave the house.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, Williams shared\u00a0a stacked playlist of \u2018British Pop\u2019 exclusively for\u00a0NME<\/a>, as well as dropping his anthemic single \u2018Spies\u2019 and the tracklist for new album \u2018Britpop\u2019.<\/p>\n

The playlist featured the likes of Johnny Marr<\/a> and Bernard Sumner\u2019s Electronic<\/a>, McAlmont And Butler<\/a>, Richard Hawley<\/a> both solo and with Longpigs<\/a>, David Bowie<\/a>, The 1975<\/a>, and past collaborators Pet Shop Boys<\/a>. He also included a track by Morrissey<\/a>, who he has written a song about for the new album.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Speaking to NME about his guitar-heavy new sound<\/a> earlier this summer, Williams revealed: \u201cI was playing it safe and I\u2019ve not been driving my own car. I\u2019ve not had my hands on the wheel through second-thinking myself and guessing what people like. I just wanted to do something that I like.\u201d<\/p>\n
