Following the dramatic conclusion of\u00a0The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys<\/a>\u00a0Season 2,\u00a0Steven McBee Jr.<\/a> wishes one regrettable moment with his mom\u00a0Kristi McBee<\/a>\u00a0never happened.<\/p>\n

Steven Jr., more specifically, told The Daily Dish that he was \u201cdisgusted\u201d by the \u201ccoffee shop talk\u201d\u00a0in which Kristi had to walk away from the eldest of her four sons after reminding him that a trip to Nashville might have been OK<\/a> for a recently single Steven, but not for the engaged Jesse McBee<\/a> and expectant father Cole McBee<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI completely regret how I came across to her,” Steven said during the exclusive interview. “I love and respect my mom more than anything, and in that moment of frustration, I came across disrespectful, entitled, and with a complete lack of humility.”<\/p>\n

“Just know I was disgusted watching that back and have definitely learned from it,” he added.<\/p>\n

Details on the Season 2 conversation that Steven McBee Jr. regrets\u00a0<\/p>\n

The conversation with Kristi occurred on Season 2, Episode 7, and saw Steven state that being alone on his rural property was \u201ca prison sentence,” in addition to accusing Kristi of \u201ctalking down\u201d to him about the Nashville trip. Kristi, meanwhile, maintained he was taking his frustrations over his breakup with Calah Jackson<\/a> out on her. The mom pointed her finger and threatened to remove her mic, and soon left the coffee shop once she was done with his \u201cgrumpy\u201d attitude.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In addition to expressing his regrets while speaking to The Daily Dish, Steven told his mother he was \u201cone hundred percent wrong\u201d and defended his commitment to McBee Farm & Cattle on an August episode of their Meet the McBees podcast<\/a>. Kristi said she was \u201cglad\u201d Steven acknowledged her side of the argument, as posted on Instagram<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Of course, hindsight is 20\/20, and Steven said there was much to learn when watching Jesse\u2019s wife-to-be, Alli Ventresca<\/a>, and Cole\u2019s expectant girlfriend, Kacie Adkison<\/a>, back in real time. It was \u201cinteresting,\u201d he said, \u201cwatching the perspective of others and hearing their take on certain situations.\u201d<\/p>\n

When it came to the women\u2019s \u201copinions on the pregnancy, the wedding, us boys and our family,\u201d Steven continued, \u201cIt\u2019s a good self-improvement session if you\u2019re able to watch it back and humble yourself to understand where you could have handled things better or not reacted so swiftly to a given situation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Steven Jr. told The Daily Dish he should have been more guarded about his and Calah\u2019s three-year relationship, which became the center of much family drama.<\/p>\n

Explained Steven, “I love my family and lean on them for so much, but there are times where I need to keep certain conversations about my significant other to myself and not vent to my family, as it leads to serious resentment. And while we may forgive our partner, our family struggles to.\u201d<\/p>\n

Since filming ended, the oldest brother said he is not involved in \u201canything serious,\u201d but he\u2019s \u201cdefinitely looking\u201d in terms of a romantic relationship<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

As for Calah,\u00a0“I still care about her, but watching everything play back is hard, and brings back the emotions of that time period, so it\u2019d be tough to still continue to talk in any capacity while watching episodes play back and not feel emotionally charged,” Steven Jr. said. “I wish her nothing but the absolute best and for all of the success in her life. She\u2019s an incredible woman, and we have so many great memories created together, even through the tough times.\u201d<\/p>\n
