The former Wimbledon<\/a> champion was unable to continue this form after being beaten by Marketa Vondrousova, who was then struck by injury<\/a>.<\/p>\n After bringing an end to her Grand Slam season, Rybakina<\/a> has now reportedly split with one of her coaches, who wanted to help her achieve a big goal next year.<\/p>\n After Rybakina split from Goran Ivanisevic<\/a> and Stefano Vukov was suspended from the WTA Tour<\/a>, she brought Italian Davide Sanguinetti into her team in February 2025.<\/p>\n Sanguinetti helped Rybakina win her ninth WTA title in Strasbourg earlier this year, and more recently she reached the semifinals in Washington D.C., Montreal and Cincinnati.<\/p>\n Despite showing some positive signs of form in recent weeks, Spazio Tennis<\/a> have now reported that Rybakina and Sanguinetti have parted ways.<\/p>\n Former coach Vukov recently re-joined Rybakina\u2019s team after his suspension was lifted, and it has been suggested that he will now be her sole coach once again.<\/p>\n This comes less than a month after Sanguinetti revealed his big goals for Rybakina<\/a> for the rest of this season and in 2026.<\/p>\n When speaking to Super Tennis TV<\/a>, Sanguinetti explained that he had asked Rybakina for two years of collaboration and wanted to take her to world number one in 2026.<\/p>\n \u201cAt the moment I\u2019m a sort of ferryman: I joined her team in February, without any work behind me,\u201d Sanguinetti said last month.<\/p>\n \u201cShe explained to me more or less what she had done, and I asked her for two years of collaboration because I have my own working method: in the first year I would like to maintain the status quo, maybe finish at number 6 in the rankings, and next year I would like to take her to number one in the world: she has all the potential.\u201d<\/p>\n Sanguinetti now leaves Rybakina\u2019s team with more questions than answers ahead of the final few months of the 2025 season.<\/p>\n What is next for Elena Rybakina after her split from Davide Sanguinetti?<\/p>\n Following Sanguinetti\u2019s departure from the team of Rybakina, she is now set to move forward with Vukov solely at the helm.<\/p>\n However, Vukov will not be the main coach for Rybakina at her next event, which will be the Billie Jean King Cup<\/a> Finals in Shenzhen, China.<\/p>\n Representing Kazakhstan, Rybakina will be mentored by team captain Yuriy Schukin, beginning with their quarterfinal tie against USA.<\/p>\n Rybakina will then return to WTA competition with Vukov, beginning at the China Open<\/a> in Beijing.<\/p>\n This is one of two WTA 1000 level tournaments in China, with the Wuhan Open<\/a> following straight after.<\/p>\n![\"Elena](\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/GettyImages-2232549478-1-1024x589.jpg\")
