Bubba Wallace may have spent his NASCAR<\/a> career working under some of the sport’s most successful figures, such as Richard Petty, Joe Gibbs, and Kyle Busch, but he was recently quick to shut down any suggestions that he could seek to follow in their footsteps and lead a team of his own in the future.<\/p>\n

The 31-year-old currently drives the No. 23 Toyota for Michael Jordan<\/a> and Denny Hamlin<\/a>\u2019s 23XI Racing, which is embroiled in an increasingly volatile antitrust lawsuit against NASCAR<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Ahead of the second Round of 16 race of the Playoffs, set to be held at World Wide Technology Raceway, Wallace took to Reddit for an \u2018Ask Me Anything,\u2019<\/a> in partnership with his sponsor, Chumba Casino. In it, he made a NASCAR proposal to F1 legend Lewis Hamilton.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

One fan also asked Wallace whether he had any interest in becoming an owner or a team down the line, which he followed up with a blunt response: \u201cNo, no desire.\u201d<\/p>\n

But while Wallace may not have been inspired by Jordan to take a leaf out of his book and become an owner once his racing days are over, he did provide a glimpse behind the curtain as to what it\u2019s like working with the NBA icon. \u201cHanging with MJ is a lot of fun and always a great conversation,\u201d Wallace wrote.<\/p>\n

With team ownership seemingly not on Wallace\u2019s radar when it comes to post-racing careers, he was less dismissive of another potential career change, admitting that he would consider turning to broadcasting, \u201cDepending on how much it pays.\u201d<\/p>\n

Alternatively, he could look to turn one of his passions into a career, having received huge praise for his photographic skills during the AMA.<\/p>\n

\u201cStarted to pick up a camera in 2011 and never really put it down since it\u2019s always had fun being able to add your own little flavor and twist to the images that you wish to desire so I\u2019m more of a landscape photographer,\u201d he explained. \u201cI\u2019ve been venturing into portraits as of lately though it\u2019s been a lot of fun.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wallace occasionally takes to social media to share some of his snaps, including a post in June from the Cup Series\u2019 trip to Mexico<\/a> City, to which he brought his Leica M3, capturing some stunning shots of fellow drivers Ryan Blaney, Noah Gragson, Riley Herbst, and Carl Edwards, as well as some eye-catching photos of life in the city.<\/p>\n

Looking forward, Wallace said he hopes to one day photograph the Dolomites mountain range in Italy, along with \u201cthe redwoods and sequoias on the west coast,\u201d while a trip to \u201cIceland is also on the list.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for his foray into portrait photography, Wallace added that during a NASCAR\/IndyCar doubleheader, \u201cIt would be cool to follow around Scotty Mac (Scott McLaughlin) for a weekend.\u201d<\/p>\n
