She has not appeared on the court since July 15, when she suffered a right groin injury in the final minute of the game, per <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/wnba\/story\/_\/id\/46160253\/fever-star-caitlin-clark-ruled-rest-wnba-season\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-type=\"externalLink\" data-ordinal=\"2\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ESPN<\/a>. She also suffered a bone bruise late in the recovery process, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/fever.wnba.com\/news\/indiana-fever-guard-caitlin-clark-ruled-out-for-remainder-of-2025-season\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-type=\"externalLink\" data-ordinal=\"3\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the Fever<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_6-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\"> The <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/caitlin-clark-parties-after-dropping-out-wnba-all-star-game-injury-11775038\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-type=\"internalLink\" data-ordinal=\"1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Indiana Fever guard<\/a> shared several black-and-white photos of herself on the court and with her teammates on Instagram.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_8-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\"> &#8220;I had hoped to share a better update, but I will not be returning to play this season,&#8221; she captioned the post, before noting that she &#8220;spent hours in the gym every day&#8221; attempting to rehabilitate her injury.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_12-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\"> &#8220;Disappointed isn\u2019t a big enough word to describe how I am feeling. I want to thank everyone who had my back through all the uncertainty. This has been incredibly frustrating, but even in the bad, there is good,&#8221; Clark continued.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_16-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\"> She went on to thank her teammates and the fans for forming a supportive community.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_18-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\"> &#8220;The way the fans continued to show up for me, and for the Fever, brought me so much joy and important perspective. I am so proud of how this team has only gotten stronger through adversity this year.
