Limp Bizkit<\/a>\u2018s Fred Durst has \u201cconfronted\u201d an Instagram drummer for supposedly leaking new music from the band on social media.<\/p>\n

On Thursday (September 4), a clip was shared to their official account that sees social media star Kristina Rybalchenko playing a beat reminiscent of the band\u2019s \u2018Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water\u2019 era, featuring lines: \u201cWhen you\u2019re hot, you\u2019re hot, when you\u2019re not, you\u2019re not.\u201d<\/p>\n

The whole thing, however, is soon revealed to be a marketing tactic by the band, as the Los Angeles-based drummer is then interrupted by frontman Fred Durst himself, who pops around the door and says, \u201cKristina, that\u2019s our new song, it\u2019s not out yet, how did you get that? Please don\u2019t put it on the internet!\u201d<\/p>\n

It comes after the band confirmed that they were back in the studio to work on new music<\/a> last year. Their last album was 2021\u2019s \u2018Still Sucks\u2019<\/a>, itself their first LP in a decade. In a three-star review, NME described it as a \u201clean and self-aware party-starter of a sixth album\u201d<\/a> and wrote: \u201c\u2018Still Sucks\u2019 doesn\u2019t feel laboured or overthought and never overstays its welcome.<\/p>\n

\u201cLimp Bizkit aren\u2019t out to rewrite their history or reach a new generation. They don\u2019t care if you still think they suck \u2013 they still know how to have a good time, and won\u2019t stop rollin\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n

Last month, Limp Bizkit headlined Reading Festival<\/a>, scoring a four-star review with NME. \u201cThere is no mistaking that the energy the band harness during their hour-long set has been meticulously perfected over the years to make this the most quintessential \u2018Limp Bizkit show\u2019 possible,\u201d wrote Liberty Dunworth.<\/p>\n

\u201cTheir set may not have all the bells and whistles of headliners Bring Me The Horizon<\/a>. But between cheeky interludes of\u00a0Metallica<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Pantera\u00a0<\/a>classics, a surprisingly heartfelt cover of\u00a0The Who<\/a>\u2019s \u2018Behind Blue Eyes\u2019, and\u00a0inviting a young one fan to rip through a \u2018Full Nelson\u2019 duet<\/a>, this is still one of the most engaging sets of the night.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, Durst\u2019s ex-wife Kseniya Beryazina put her dress from the former couple\u2019s
