{"id":122309,"date":"2025-09-05T17:24:08","date_gmt":"2025-09-05T17:24:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/122309\/"},"modified":"2025-09-05T17:24:08","modified_gmt":"2025-09-05T17:24:08","slug":"lady-buff-golf-ranked-eighth-in-the-wgca-division-ii-poll","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/122309\/","title":{"rendered":"Lady Buff Golf Ranked Eighth in the WGCA Division II Poll"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n                    &#13;<br \/>\n                        Story Links&#13;<br \/>\n                        &#13;<\/p>\n<p>                     CANYON, Texas \u2013\u00a0The Lady Buffs of West Texas A&amp;M will begin their 2025 season ranked eighth in the Women&#8217;s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) Division II Preseason Top-25 Poll announced on Friday afternoon.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nDefending National Champion DBU claimed 16 first place votes for a total of 469 points to sit atop of the poll followed by Anderson (two first place, 444), Wingate (one first place, 394), Findlay (390), Lynn (371), Flagler (368), Nova Southeastern (332), WT (307), Cal State San Marcos (298) and Central Missouri (283) to round out the top ten.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nMeredith Jameson is now in her 21st season at West Texas A&amp;M after taking over the reigns of the program prior to the 2005-06 season. \u00a0She has led WT to 39\u00a0team tournament victories and 37\u00a0individual wins from 18\u00a0different players.
