Going on a summer trip<\/a> is fun and exciting until you start sightseeing in the scorching heat. During my four-day getaway to Las Vegas, temperatures were in the 110- to 112-degree range.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n

So, what was a girl to pack? Of course, I took my trusted tennis shoes<\/a> and comfy loafers<\/a> (which kept my feet pain-free after walking 11,000-plus steps) and a couple of breezy dresses<\/a>. The best feature of this $38 mini dress<\/a>, IMHO, is the soft, moisture-wicking material. The combination of nylon and spandex made it feel like I was wearing athleisurewear and shapewear in-one. The stretchy, quick-drying fabric also saved me from looking like a sweaty mess, especially in the underboob and back areas. If anything, it kept me cool since my sweat wasn\u2019t seeping into the clothes or sitting on my skin\u2014it felt like the fabric pushed out the extra moisture and let it evaporate into the air. Additionally, since the spandex-like material molds to the body and is double lined, I opted to go bra-free (I only wore small pasties<\/a> to cover my nipples) and found that it lifted and supported my DD-cup size<\/a> all day. The tennis dress<\/a> includes built-in shorts with pockets, which not only provides extra coverage, but safely stored my hotel room key\u2014a phone fits into the pockets, but I didn\u2019t want to constantly lift up the dress to grab my phone.\n<\/p>\n

Function aside, my travel dress was so stylish that it was versatile\u2014I wore it day to night: from walking around casinos to going to a fancy restaurant for dinner. The square neckline and dainty side slit add an elevated touch to the casual style, while the corseted bodice sculpts, shapes, and smooths. I paired this look with loafers<\/a> for a preppy look, but you could easily wear them with sneakers, heels, or sandals<\/a>, too.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n

It\u2019s available in 19 colors, including black<\/a> (which I own), chocolate brown<\/a>, navy<\/a>, gray<\/a>, and mint green<\/a> (which I\u2019m eyeing as my next purchase). And as a 4-foot-11 girly, I loved that it hit right above the knee, showing just enough skin but not too much.
