As well as the blockbuster main event, there were several highly anticipated debuts on the card, one of which that was unfortunately canceled on Friday due to a weight miss<\/a>.<\/p>\n And with it being a Fight Night event, the usual commentary team of Brendan Fitzgerald, Paul Felder<\/a> and Michael Bisping<\/a> returned to the commentary booth.<\/p>\n After back-to-back finishes in the first two fights, middleweights Brad Tavares<\/a> and Robert Bryczek<\/a> entered the Octagon for their clash.<\/p>\n The longtime middleweight contender, Tavares was hoping to score back-to-back wins for the first time since 2021, and there was even more attached to this fight.<\/p>\n With a win over the Polish fighter, the 37-year-old would see himself take over the aforementioned Bisping for the most wins ever in the middleweight division.<\/p>\n In the first round, the Hawaiian had to showcase his experience by staying in the fight after being wobbled by Bryczek, who nearly scored the stoppage.<\/p>\n After making it out of round one, Tavares managed to work his way back into the fight using his footwork and striking, chopping down the lead leg of Bryczek.<\/p>\n Bryczek undoubtedly won round one, the only question was whether it was dominant enough to score a 10-8, with the second round being relatively close.<\/p>\n Despite that, it didn\u2019t matter as just a few moments into round three, the Polish fighter scored the TKO finish after landing a huge right hand and subsequent ground-and-pound.<\/p>\n Fans plead with Tavares to retire after loss<\/p>\n Tavares made his UFC debut back in 2011 and during his time in the promotion, he has suffered some brutal losses.<\/p>\n And with that, fans have pleaded with the 37-year-old to finally hang up his gloves following his loss in the French capital.<\/p>\n \u201cTime for Brad Tavares to retire,\u201d one fan said.<\/p>\n \u201cBrad Tavares accepted his position and wasn\u2019t displaying any intention of fighting back.
