<\/p>\n CALGARY \u2013 Sarah Donick<\/a> scored a pair of second-half goals to help lead the Calgary Dinos women’s soccer team to a 4-1 comeback win over provincial rivals Alberta Sunday afternoon from McMahon Stadium.<\/p>\n The Pandas were first on the board with a goal in the 27th, only to see the Dinos tie it three minutes later before dominating the second half to remain perfect on the season at 4-0.<\/p>\n For Alberta, Sunday’s result marks the first loss of the year as they move to 1-1-2 in the early going.<\/p>\n Despite some strong early chances from the Dinos, it was Alberta that struck first in this one. Wanda Czebreszuk made a perfectly timed run to get behind the backline, and Kailey Rudyk flicked on a through ball as\u00a0Czebreszuk netted her second goal of the year.\u00a0<\/p>\n It was the first goal conceded by Calgary through the first three-plus games of the year and ended their season-opening shutout streak just shy of 300 minutes.<\/p>\n Trailing for the first time all season, the Dinos responded immediately. Brooklyn Colvin<\/a> made a beautiful turn at the top of the box to split the defence and finished top shelf for her first of the year to tie things up in the 30th minute.<\/p>\n The game remained tied until just after halftime when Donick made her impact felt.<\/p>\n The second-year forward from Kelowna, B.C. first made a perfect run to get on the end of a long ball from Colvin, taking two touches before finishing far post to make it 2-1 just five minutes into the second half.<\/p>\n Less than 10 minutes later, it was Donick again, this time one-timing a slot into the box from Sofia DiGiacomo<\/a> to put Calgary ahead 3-1 in the 59th minute.<\/p>\n
