HUNTINGTON, W.Va. \u2013\u00a0Marshall Men’s Golf is ready to defend its championship as the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational gets started on Monday at Guyan Country Club.<\/p>\n

In addition to the Herd looking to defend its team title, Marshall senior Cameron Jarvis<\/a> also looks to earn his second-straight win in the tournament after taking medalist honors in 2024.<\/p>\n

“I am really excited to see the guys compete the next couple of days,” Marshall Men’s Golf coach Matt Grobe<\/a> said. “Qualifying has been very competitive and the guys are playing solid heading into our first tournament of the year.”<\/p>\n

Action gets underway at 8:30 a.m. shotgun start on Monday with 36 holes of play set for the first day of the 54-hole event. Tuesday’s final round wraps up the tournament with play starting at 8:30 a.m.<\/p>\n

Those competing as team members for Marshall include Jarvis, Wes Lorish, Cael Ropietski<\/a>, Clayton Thomas<\/a> and Tanner Vest<\/a>. Players competing as individuals include Jack Minutoli, Jackson Woodburn<\/a>, Ben Bridges<\/a> and Sammy Shy<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The tournament will feature 15 teams competing for the 2025 Joe Feaganes Invitational title.<\/p>\n
