Ozzy Osbourne, who died in July at age 76<\/a>, was honored with a star-studded tribute performance Sunday during the Video Music Awards.<\/p>\n

Aerosmith\u2019s Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, YUNGBLUD, and Nuno Bettencourt performed a medley of the late Black Sabbath frontman\u2019s hits, including “Crazy Train,” “Changes” and “Mama, I\u2019m Coming Home.”<\/p>\n

The performance was introduced by Osbourne’s son Jack and several of his grandkids, who shared a video message to VMAs viewers about their beloved family member. <\/p>\n

“I know for sure it would make him incredibly happy to see these great musicians carry on his legacy and help inspire the next generation of rockers,” Jack Osbourne said. <\/p>\n

“In the words of our papa, ‘Let\u2019s go crazy,'” the grandkids added, referring to his popular song “Crazy Train.”<\/p>\n

Later in his career, Osbourne became a fixture on MTV, which is also home to the VMAs. The reality TV show “The Osbournes,” which followed his family, ran on the network from 2002 through 2005.<\/p>\n

The “Prince of Darkness” got a Hollywood Walk of Fame star in 2002.<\/p>\n

Osbourne reunited with his original Black Sabbath bandmates Tony Iommi<\/a>, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward for their final show <\/a>o<\/a>n July<\/a> 5<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The reunion performance came just months after Sharon Osbourne revealed that<\/a> her husband was unable to walk because of Parkinson\u2019s disease.<\/p>\n
