There are a couple of major decisions to make in NBA 2K26’s MyCareer if players opt to play through the Out of Bounds story, which sees MP rise from a high school prospect to the NBA. After impressing in his last school game, MP can choose to join the HighFlyas or Union Elite in an attempt to improve his national rating and practice with and against elite players of his age.

The next step, however, is not college as would be expected, but instead Europe. Two teams are interested in MP, meaning players must choose Paris FC Basket or Basquet Madrid. This stint in Europe is a chance for MP to prove himself to NBA scouts, with that being the next destination.

Should You Choose Paris FC Or Basquet Madrid In MyCareer For NBA 2K26?

"NBA

First of all, players shouldn’t worry too much about which team they choose, as MP will only be with that team for four games before finally making it into the NBA.

Do You Want To Play More Or Get To The NBA Quick?

MP will play more minutes on the court in Paris, but depending on what players want, this can be a positive or a negative. If players are in a rush to reach the NBA, then Madrid would be the best option, as more in-game minutes can be simulated while MP is on the bench.

Alternatively, if players want more time to learn NBA 2K26 or to impress scouts and move up the draft, Paris would be the better option.

Are You A Highlight Maker Or Team Player?

If your version of MP is a perimeter defender who sometimes shoots open 3s and passes to teammates often, then gaining stars and impressing in Paris might be a problem, as individual performances and highlights matter more over there.

The types of players to succeed in Paris are those who perform high-flying dunks or come in clutch with blocks. Players more focused on teamwork and winning, perhaps as a facilitator, might want to choose Madrid.

Which Unique Goat Skill Do You Want? – Feature Film Vs Mad Scientist

Each of the two European teams comes with their own unique GOAT skill. Players should weigh up which they are more likely to trigger, as they both have the same effect. Upon activation, they both buff: Driving Layup, Three-Point-Shot, Ball Handle, and Steal.

The following is how they can be activated.

Feature Film: Get 4 Highlight Plays

Mad Scientist: Reach 80% Team Chemistry

After their time in Europe, players will want to think about the best teams to be drafted on for their position. Here are some suggested teams for Point Guards, Small Forwards, and Centers in MyCareer.
