Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors usually emit an aura in any sense, so why are they ranked dead last in this NBA category?

Curry and the Dubs make for an amazing duo, so what is it that made Fansided’s Christopher Kline rank them dead last?

Well, it is the fact that they have had maybe the most unproductive offseason in NBA history, which earned them the top spot on Kline’s five worst offseasons.

“The Golden State Warriors currently have nine players on standard NBA contracts and one (1) on a two-way contract. Jonathan Kuminga has not re-signed or been traded,” Kline said Saturday.

“We know the Dubs are waiting on Al Horford, but with all due respect, a 39-year-old backup center is not worth putting your entire summer on hold.”

“There are a few worthwhile free agents left on the marketplace, but Golden State doesn’t exactly have a huge reserve of open cap space.”

One of the main reasons this is a problem is that Curry and Jimmy Butler are in their mid-30s

A combination of an old team with little to no depth is not the recipe for this team to win a championship.

When Curry won each of his four rings, a team was built to fit around him, and with the remaining free agents, that seems borderline impossible.

It is obvious that the Dubs are trying to compete for a championship, given the state of their current roster, but they missed a golden opportunity to strengthen their roster in any capacity this free agency.
