Last year, Swedish virtuoso Yngwie Malmsteen<\/a> launched his own multivitamin gummies<\/a>, claiming that vitamins were the true \u201csecret to [his] force\u201d. Now, he\u2019s entered the supplement powders market.<\/p>\n

Malmsteen\u2019s new range of supplements ranges from whey isolate protein powder to probiotic pills. There\u2019s also collagen peptides, electrolyte supplements, and watermelon-flavoured pre-workout packed with B1, B2, B3, B6, B12, folic acid, calcium, and a whole host of other ingredients to get you pumped up.<\/p>\n

The guitarist shared the news on his Instagram, paired with a short, flashing clip of the supplements that isn\u2019t very epilepsy friendly. \u201cWhen I\u2019m on stage, there\u2019s no compromise only precision, power, and passion,\u201d Malmsteen writes. \u201cI take these supplements to stay razor-sharp, night after night. This isn\u2019t hype. It\u2019s fuel!\u201d<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a similar sentiment to Malmsteen\u2019s initial announcement of his Force gummies: \u201cI am a very busy man that travels the world while playing six shows in a row, up on stage every single night. This works for me so I wanted to make it available for my followers.\u201d<\/p>\n

Back in March, Malmsteen explained his decision to dive into the supplements market. \u201cIn order for you to be in good health, you need to take supplements,\u201d he explained whilst on SiriusXM\u2019s Trunk Nation with Eddie Trunk<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019ve always done that. And so the reason I put my line out is because I want other people to do it too. I highly recommend it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t drink, I don\u2019t do drugs,\u201d he continued. \u201cI don\u2019t believe in it\u2026 if you wanna do that, go ahead! Be my guest! But I prefer not to do it. And also I think it\u2019s great to let people know: take your vitamins, and it really works.\u201d<\/p>\n

As a result of Malmsteen\u2019s health-conscious attitude, his merch website even has its own \u2018Supplements Power & Performance\u2019 section. That\u2019s where you can find all of the guitarist\u2019s various supplements \u2013 as well as a yoga matt. Fancy holding a downward dog pose to the tune of Rising Force, anyone?<\/p>\n
