That\u2019s a fight I like, but it\u2019s looking like an 8-week ordeal!\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">While UFC apparently hoped Elliott would make a quick turnaround against Johnson, he\u2019s now looking at three months \u2014 or longer \u2014 on the sidelines.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">The 38-year-old veteran didn\u2019t even know he was competing on a broken leg until after the fight, when the pain continued to worsen. Still, the win extended his win streak to two, both finishes by submission.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Elliott (21-13-1) has quietly won four of his last five, with his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mmamania.com\/2023\/10\/20\/23925105\/tim-elliott-accuses-muhammad-mokaev-of-missing-weight-they-gifted-it-to-you\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">only setback coming<\/a> against surging former UFC contender Muhammad Mokaev.
