PIERSON, Mich. – The Pittsburg State University men’s golf team completed the first day of the Pilgrim’s Run Invite at the Pilgrim’s Run GC on Monday (Sept. 8).<\/p>\n
As a team, the Gorillas are 10th with a two-round score of +43 (627).<\/p>\n
Tyler Hardtarfer<\/a> leads the squad at +3 (150), tied for 13th among the 87 individuals competing. Mason White<\/a> is tied for 40th at +11 (158), Cooper Forth<\/a> is tied for 51st at +13 (160) and Owen Buerke<\/a> at +16 (163) is 65th to round out the top four for the Gorillas.<\/p>\n Leading the individual leader board is Santiago Caride from West Texas A&M with a seven-stroke lead at -8 (138). Atop the team leader board are the hosts\u00a0West Texas A&M with an 18-stroke lead over Indian Hills Community College at -2 (582).<\/p>\n The Gorillas will conclude the opening tournament of the 2025-26 season on Tuesday (Sept. 9).
