Despite being unable to add to her trophy cabinet, Osaka has climbed up the WTA rankings<\/a> as she continues her improved form.<\/p>\n The former world number one has been very vocal on social media since then, including Osaka commenting on Taylor Townsend\u2019s Instagram post<\/a> and now she appears to have made another dig relating to the American.<\/p>\n As the dust now settles on the final Grand Slam of the season, many players are posting on social media to reflect on their time in New York.<\/p>\n Osaka<\/a> is no different, posting a series of pictures to her Instagram with the caption, \u201cNY you\u2019ve been lovely. Off to Asia now.\u201d<\/p>\n While this may seem pretty standard on the surface, what really got fans talking was the final image on the Instagram post that showed the aforementioned Townsend\u2019s argument with Jelena Ostapenko<\/a> from the US Open<\/a>.<\/p>\n In this image, Townsend<\/a> is smiling as Ostapenko<\/a> points in her direction, and the American actually commented on this post.<\/p>\n Townsend wrote, \u201cLAST SLIDE HAS ME ON THE FLOOR (laughing face emoji) Love how you slid that in there (crying face emoji).
