Rino Gattuso erupted at Israel striker Dor Turgeman<\/a> after Italy’s frantic 5-4 win on Monday night \u2013 pointing the finger and telling him to ‘shut the f*** up!’<\/p>\n

Italy were behind twice in the World Cup<\/a> qualifier, only Gattuso<\/a>‘s second match in charge, but looked to have wrapped it up when Giacomo Raspadori put them 4-2 in front with nine minutes remaining.<\/p>\n

Incredibly, they were pegged back to 4-4 before Sandro Tonali’s stoppage time winner sparked wild scenes \u2013 and it didn’t take long for tempers to flare after the game.<\/p>\n

There was a stramash near the half way line and Gattuso initially raced in to calm things down.<\/p>\n

But then Turgeman, a summer target for Rangers<\/a> before they signed Bojan Miovski and Youssef Chermiti, got involved. And all hell broke loose.<\/p>\n

The striker was heard telling Gattuso to ‘control your players’ which prompted the hot-headed Italian to fly into a rage.<\/p>\n

In incredible footage captured by DAZN, Gattuso had to be held back by his own players as he thrust a finger in Turgeman’s face and roared: “Shut the f*** up!”<\/p>\n

The defeated Israel players were incensed by Italy’s antics throughout the frantic 90 minutes with Tay Baribo accusing Italian players of “cursing at us the whole game.”<\/p>\n

Asked what the post-match fracas was about, Eli Dasa said: \u201cAn argument broke out, they were very, very emotional. They felt they were not in the game, and we deserved to win, and they tried to provoke a bit. It is part of football, so we moved on.\u201d<\/p>\n

The win continued Gattuso’s winning start after they dismantled Estonia 5-0 on Friday night, though this one was significantly less comfortable.<\/p>\n

It moves them ahead of Israel into second place, three points behind Norway who have enjoyed a 100 per cent start.<\/p>\n
