WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. \u2013 Making the short trip up to White Plains for the first rounds of the 2025-26 campaign, Fordham University Golf took to the Metropolis Country Club Monday and Tuesday, placing seventh amongst 15 teams in the 54-hole Metropolis Intercollegiate, hosted by Columbia to open the year.<\/p>\n
Following a gloomy practice round Sunday afternoon, skies cleared despite moderate winds across the two day, and Rams sat third as a group following the first of two rounds of action Monday afternoon. Starting shotgun style at 8:45 a.m. play wrapped up after 36 holes just after at 7:00 p.m. with the Maroon and White in 10th.<\/p>\n
A resilient effort in Tuesday’s final round saw Fordham move three spots as a team on the leaderboard, with Liam Howard<\/a>, leading the way throughout the weekend, placing 10th in the 84-player field. Howard paced the field through the first 18-holes, and was in contention the entire tournament.<\/p>\n Luke Brower<\/a> finished second for the Maroon and White, with a two-over score on Tuesday shooting him 21 spots up the leaderboard, finishing in 44th place. Tucker Silva<\/a> followed, moving up ten spots in the final round to finish tied for 55th, just ahead of Anthony DePaolo in 57th, while Patrick Ginnity<\/a> rounded out the Rams’ quintet in 69th place.<\/p>\n The Rams are back on course Sept. 22-23 when they head to the historic Wethersfield Country Club in Connecticut for the Ryan T.
