\n\tSabrina Carpenter<\/a> thanked fans for \u201chaving such a damn good time\u201d with her new album<\/a>, Man\u2019s Best Friend<\/a>, after it became her second record to top the Billboard 200 Albums chart.<\/p>\n \n\tOn Instagram on Wednesday, Carpenter shared a short note marking the occasion, as well as an endearing montage of behind-the-scenes footage from the Man\u2019s Best Friend sessions<\/a>. Noting that not only was Man\u2019s Best Friend her second Number One album, but also her \u201chighest debut ever\u201d on the chart, Carpenter said, \u201cI feel so lucky to have such beautiful love and support all around me.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tCarpenter also gave a shout-out to her key collaborators: Songwriter Amy Allen<\/a>, and producers\/songwriters Jack Antonoff<\/a> and John Ryan. She said working with the three of them \u201cwas one of the most most pure wholesome electric times in my life,\u201d and to see fans \u201cresonating\u201d with the music they made \u201cmakes me feel like the luckiest girl in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cThank you for listening (top to bottom!!!),\u201d Carpenter continued, \u201cAnd thank you for bringing this album into your lives and having such a damn good time with it, I\u2019m having fun too.\u201d<\/p>\n \t\tTrending Stories<\/p>\n \n\tCarpenter released Man\u2019s Best Friend at the end of August, almost exactly one year after her breakthrough LP, Short n\u2019 Sweet<\/a>. In a recent Rolling Stone cover story<\/a>, Carpenter said the album contains\u00a0 \u201csome of the most honest work I\u2019ve ever had,\u201d adding it \u201cwasn\u2019t written from a place of \u2018How do I one-up myself?\u2019 or \u2018How do I re-create something else?\u2019\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tIn October, Carpenter will return to the road, launching a North American tour<\/a> originally announced in February \u2014 well before she\u2019d even announced Man\u2019s Best Friend \u2014 and technically still part of her Short n\u2019 Sweet tour.
