Clint Eastwood played a \u201cpowerful\u201d role in Charlie Sheen\u2019s star-studded intervention.<\/p>\n
The \u201cTwo and a Half Men\u201d alum detailed how he was convinced to go to rehab for the first time in his new Netflix docuseries, \u201caka Charlie Sheen.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n In Wednesday\u2019s wide-ranging release, the actor described being tricked into thinking he was attending his dad Martin Sheen\u2019s birthday party on Aug. 3, 1990.<\/p>\n Clint Eastwood took part in convincing Charlie Sheen to go to rehab in 1990. I thanked him, gave the phone back to Dad and said, \u2018All right, let\u2019s go.’\u201d<\/p>\n Eastwood, who did not appear in the documentary, has yet to respond to Page Six\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n \u201caka Charlie Sheen\u201d came out on the heels of the Emmy nominee\u2019s memoir, \u201cThe Book of Sheen,\u201d<\/a> which hit shelves Tuesday.<\/p>\n Instead, he found his siblings, parents, yoga instructor, 7th-grade teacher and Rob Lowe.
