Gwyneth Paltrow and her husband, Brad Falchuk, admitted they regret not living together during their first year of marriage.<\/p>\n
During a candid conversation on Paltrow\u2019s \u201cGoop\u201d podcast Tuesday<\/a> with Falchuk, the actress, 52, said if she could go back, she wouldn\u2019t make the same decision again.<\/p>\n \u201cI think at the time, we really felt like we were doing the right thing,\u201d she said. \u201cWe were trying to kind of land the plane very, very gently and slowly and get everybody on board.\u201d<\/p>\n Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuk lived separately their first year of marriage and it\u2019s a decision that both regret now. Instagram\/@gwynethpaltrow<\/p>\n Falchuk asked his wife if it was a decision she would make again, to which she she responded, \u201cI don\u2019t think so.\u201d Gwyneth Paltrow \/ Instagram<\/p>\n \u201cBut I\u2019m not sure that it didn\u2019t just prolong that thing of like, we don\u2019t know what we\u2019re doing. What do you think?\u201d<\/p>\n The \u201cAmerican Horror Story\u201d co-creator, 54, agreed with Paltrow and further explained that they had made that decision at the time for the sake of their children from previous marriages. <\/p>\n Looking back, he now thinks the decision to live separately gave the kids \u201ctoo much power.\u201d<\/p>\n I mean, I think at the time, we really felt like we were doing the right thing,\u201d she explained. \u201cWe were trying to kind of land the plane very, very gently and slowly and get everybody on board.\u201d Instagram\/@gwynethpaltrow<\/p>\n The \u201cGlee\u201d creator agreed with Paltrow\u2019s sentiment and further explained that they had made that decision at the time for the sake of their children from previous marriages.
