Ghanaian actor Van Vicker has detailed how seasoned filmmaker Abdul Salam has since refused to pay him for his services after he played a pivotal role in his projects. <\/p>\n

In an interview with Nana Romeo on OKAY FM, shared on social media on September 10, 2025, Van Vicker noted that Abdul Salam, after exploiting his service in a series in 2015, has refused to pay him for his work. <\/p>\n

Van Vicker disclosed that after 10 years, the filmmaker has since ignored him. <\/p>\n

“After 2015, Salam showed that he wanted us to work again. We did some series, and I am going to put it out there that Salam still owes me till today. I am putting it out there because I want Salam to know that I am not the only person he owes,” he said. <\/p>\n

Van Vicker, who said he still harbors pain from Abdul Salam\u2019s actions, has urged filmmakers to stop exploiting actors.<\/p>\n

“Salam owes a lot of people, and I hear all these stories, and I am grieved because a seasoned producer… It is not fair to have actors work, and we don’t get what they are worth,” he added.<\/p>\n
