The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.designboom.com\/tag\/residential-architecture-interiors\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">residence<\/a> balances individual creative spaces with shared areas, creating a domestic environment that accommodates both private work and family life.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The house is composed of four interconnected volumes, each defined by distinct <a href=\"https:\/\/www.designboom.com\/tag\/rooftop-architecture-and-design\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">roof<\/a> forms. Together, they create a small village-like configuration, linked by gardens, terraces, and passageways. A shared living room anchors the plan, serving as the central space for gathering. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hosakatakeshi.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">architectural team<\/a> at Takeshi Hosaka organizes the spatial layout in a way that allows simultaneous activity across the household while maintaining visual and spatial connections through the open courtyards and terraces.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The project\u2019s name derives from the Japanese words kaku, \u66f8\u304f, (to write), kaku, \u63cf\u304f, (to draw), and kanadel, \u594f\u3067\u308b, (to play music), reflecting the creative practices that define the household.
