Asked when the Government would publish the long-awaited \u2018Modern Service Framework\u2019 \u2013 the strategy supposedly setting out how mental health services will be improved \u2013 Merron shuffled her papers and admitted:<\/p>\n
\u201cUm next year. Uh soon. No, it\u2019s not soon. Uh I\u2019m being realistic because it\u2019s in the it\u2019s in the process of being developed, but um if I was in the Chamber, I\u2019d say I\u2019d be very pleased to update the noble Lord uh on the timetable when it is clearer.\u201d<\/p>\n
A quick look at Labour\u2019s 10-Year Health Plan shows the paper is pencilled to be published<\/a> by March 2026. Though, given Labour\u2019s ability to miss<\/a> their own<\/a> deadlines, Guido wouldn\u2019t recommend putting money on it.
