Ontario is expanding its Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) prevention program to include everyone aged 75 and older.<\/p>\n

The government says the move will help protect vulnerable people this fall and winter, while reducing pressure on the health-care system.<\/p>\n

Sylvia Jones, Deputy Premier of Ontario and Minister of Health, highlighted the ages most affected by RSV.<\/p>\n

Ontario\u2019s RSV program already covers high-risk adults aged 60 to 74, infants up to eight months in their first season, high-risk children up to 24 months, and pregnant women.<\/p>\n

Jones explains why the province is widening access.<\/p>\n
