MALIBU, Calif. \u2014 The Pepperdine men’s tennis team and seven members of the squad earned Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-Academic Awards, as announced by the organization on Monday.<\/p>\n
To become an ITA Scholar-Athlete, players must have at least a 3.5 grade point average for the 2024-25 academic year. Teams must have a 3.2 grade point average or higher to earn ITA All-Academic Team status.<\/p>\n
Pepperdine’s seven individual award winners were the most in program history under Director of Tennis Adam Schaechterle<\/a>. Robin Boeckli<\/a>, Linus Carlsson Halldin<\/a>, Maxi Homberg<\/a>, Chris Papa<\/a>, Aleksa Pisaric<\/a>, Lasse Poertner<\/a> and Hugh Winter<\/a> were the seven Waves who earned ITA All-Academic awards. As a team, Pepperdine had a 3.3 GPA, earning them the ITA All-Academic Team award for the fourth consecutive year.<\/p>\n Finishing 25th in the final ITA national poll, the Waves went 16-11 in 2025 and advanced in the NCAA Tournament for the fourth time in the last five years.
