EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. \u2013 The SIUE women’s tennis team embarks on the second leg of its fall season with matches Friday and Saturday at the Lindenwood Invite in St. Charles, Missouri.<\/p>\n
SIUE joins host Lindenwood and Washington University for the two-day event at the Lindenwood Tennis Facility. The Cougars are slated to play singled against Lindenwood at 2 p.m. Friday and Washington U. at 1 p.m. Saturday.<\/p>\n
Doubles play includes two rounds at 5 p.m. Friday and one round on Saturday at noon.<\/p>\n
The Cougars are coming off a successful opening tournament at the Cougar Invite. Stefaniya Anikina<\/a>, Margaux Guibal Britt<\/a>, Paloma Hennicaux<\/a> and Elena Palioura<\/a> each went 2-0 in singles play while the team won 12 singles matches overall.<\/p>\n
