The staff for the television anime<\/a> of Firehead<\/a> and YahaKo<\/a>‘s A Wild Last Boss Appeared! light novel series revealed on Friday new cast members for the anime, its September 27 early streaming preview, third promotional video, and new key visual. The newly announced cast members include:\n<\/p>\n

The anime’s streaming debut will be on ABEMA<\/a> and U-NEXT<\/a> on September 27 at 10:30 p.m. JST.<\/p>\n

The anime will debut<\/a> on Tokyo MX<\/a> on October 4 at 10:30 p.m., before airing on BS Asahi<\/a> and Kansai TV<\/a> on October 5.<\/p>\n

Y\u016bya Horiuchi<\/a> (Nijiyon Animation<\/a>, Nijiyon Animation 2<\/a>) is directing the anime at studio Wao World<\/a>, and WOWMAX<\/a> is producing the anime. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu<\/a> (Is the order a rabbit?<\/a> franchise<\/a>, Girls’ Last Tour<\/a>) is overseeing the series scripts, Maiko Ebisawa<\/a> (key animator for Wonder Egg Priority<\/a>, Sword Art Online: Alicization<\/a>) is designing the characters for animation, and Takashi Kobayashi<\/a> (Time Travel Girl<\/a>, Magikano<\/a>) and Sh\u014dta Ueno<\/a> (Seirei Gensouki – Spirit Chronicles<\/a>) are the sub-character designers.<\/p>\n

Kishida Ky\u014ddan & The Akeboshi Rockets<\/a> will perform opening theme song “Level wo Agete Butsuri de Naguru” (“Level Up and Hit with Physical Attacks”). Yuka Nagase<\/a> performs the ending theme song “Migi Hidari<\/a>” (“Right and Left”).<\/p>\n

The franchise’s video game adaptation titled A Wild Last Boss Appeared! ~Black-Winged Survivor~ (Yasei no Last Boss ga Arawareta!<\/a> ~Kuro Tsubasa no Survivor~), will launch in Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese on Nintendo<\/a> Switch, PlayStation<\/a> 5, PlayStation 4, and Steam<\/a> on October 5 (October 6 on Steam). The action game’s Steam page<\/a> is available now.<\/p>\n

Firehead and YahaKo launched the A Wild Last Boss Appeared! (Yasei no Last Boss ga Arawareta!) story on the Sh\u014dsetsuka ni Nar\u014d (Let’s Be Novelists) website in 2015, and the series ended in 2017. Earth Star Entertainment<\/a> published the ninth and final light novel volume in print in April 2019. J-Novel Club<\/a> released<\/a> the novel series digitally in English.<\/p>\n

Manga artist Tsubasa Hazuki<\/a> launched a manga adaptation on the Comic Earth Star<\/a> manga website in 2017. J-Novel Club is also publishing the manga in English. The book franchise has 1.4 million copies in circulation.<\/p>\n
