The Saskatchewan Roughriders released offensive lineman Nick Jones from the practice squad on Friday according to the CFL Transactions<\/a> page.<\/p>\n

Nick Jones<\/a> is six foot three and weighs 300 pounds. The 24-year-old from Byhalia, Mississippi, re-signed with the Saskatchewan Roughriders on November 25, 2024. In 2025, he played two preseason games. The Roughriders released him on May 31, 2025. He re-signed with the Roughriders on July 6, 2025. He spent two months on the practice squad.<\/p>\n

Jones went undrafted in the 2024 NFL Draft. The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed Jones on July 16, 2024. He played in six games for the Roughriders in 2024.<\/p>\n
